The medieval site of Agios Sylas is known as the main archaeological attraction of the municipality. Its principal attraction is an image of Christ which is nicknamed “The General”. Now these processions and ceremonies center upon the Santa Prisca Church. Most processions are about two and a half kilometers long and take about two hours to complete.
